Wallingford Community Council
Wednesday, June 3rd
7:00-9:00 pm
Good Shepherd Center, Room 202

The Wallingford Community Council June Meeting includes a presentation by the Seattle Police Department and One Reel about plans for this year's 4th of July Gasworks Fireworks and associated neighborhood impacts. With the Elliot Bay display canceled this year, traffic and attendance are both expected to be heavier than in the past. SPD and One Reel want to share their plans for this year and let the community know how they are responding to this probability.

Also on the agenda are presentations on:
  • Gasworks Park Playground
  • Heather Trim, People for Puget Sound, on the proposed plastic bag fee initiative
  • Sara Lynch, regarding a Residential Parking Zone in East Wallingford near the John Stanford International School
  • Proposal to host a council/mayoral candidates forum in September
