quality of life committee

The Quality of Life (QOL) Committee is the newest Council committee, initiated in February 2005. The QOL Committee provides an opportunity to identify and approach problems (e.g., graffiti, litter, crime, noise, rooming houses) and community projects (e.g., related to parks, schools, businesses) in our neighborhood in a collaborative and effective way.

Many of us come together around a particular problem or project that is often literally "in our backyard." Our efforts are enhanced by bringing the various "pockets" of our community together, sharing information and experiences, and unifying our work on dealing with issues that pervade the Wallingford community. Our list of issues is long, and we have much to learn from each other and a lot to gain in a united approach.

For more information about our committee, please contact Mary Heim.
